Klick Proud to Be a Great Place to Work for Seventh Straight Year

Company highly ranked on camaraderie, credibility, fairness of treatment, and respect for employees

TORONTO, ON/NEW YORK, NY – April 26, 2018 – Klick was last night named one of 2017’s Great Places to Work—marking the seventh consecutive year the company has been included on the Top 100 Best Workplaces list.

Klick received high marks in particular for its camaraderie, credibility, fairness of treatment, and respect for employees in the Great Place to Work’s Best People Practices and Trust Index, which is largely determined by confidential team member surveys.

“We’ve been making Klicksters and our people-centric culture our top priority for over 20 years,” said Klick CEO and Co-Founder Leerom Segal. “We’re incredibly proud to wear our Great Place to Work recognition as a badge of honor and distinction because our people have played such a large role in determining our success in the rankings over the years and it shows how much they love working at Klick.”

In addition to providing its people with the best tools and environment to do outstanding work, Klick focuses on delivering memorable and meaningful experiences. The Klick Experience (KLIX) team is mandated to proactively help enhance culture and engagement across the organization through events, celebrations, and personalized surprise-and-delight moments. KLIX also helps organize and promote personal interest clubs that connect Klicksters with shared interests and hobbies, such as learning Spanish, rock climbing, hockey, basketball, and Dungeons & Dragons.

In a recent interview with The Globe and Mail, Segal explained that personalizing the workplace is “a philosophy in everything that we do. If I look at our renovation in the last year….one of the things we focused on was making sure there was a wide range of different work areas. Whether it’s an open-collaboration space or a high-tech meeting room, or a parent room for nursing, it’s all an attempt for us to try to be empathetic and create diversity, and allow the unique identities of people to come together. I ultimately think that’s what fosters creativity.”

Today’s news reinforces Klick’s commitment to creating a winning workplace as demonstrated last month in being named a Best Managed Company, a Best Workplace for Women, and the top Employee Recommended Workplace in the Large Employer – Private Company category.
